Our Founders

Bishop Jermaine McInnis, Sr.
Dr. Kawana McInnis
Bishop Jermaine McInnis, Sr., is the visionary behind Restoration Center of Hope and Restoration Ministries. With a profound anointing to teach and preach God’s “Restoring” Word, his dynamic style and warm personality enhance the spiritual gifts bestowed upon him. Having embraced the Lord at the age of twenty, he has faithfully progressed on his journey for many years. His message, simple yet powerful, carries the intention of sharing the incredible restoring power of God with broken people everywhere.
Bishop Archie L. McInnis, Sr. received his foundational training at New Life Pentecostal Holiness Church under the mentorship of his uncle. In this environment, he embraced the core values of holiness and sanctification. Through his active involvement as a trustee, choir member, and organist, he became increasingly aware of the divine calling in his life. Recognized by his Spiritual Father and guided by the Call of God, he was awarded his minister's license and began his preaching ministry, sharing the Word of the Lord with his community.
In November 2006, he was appointed to the esteemed role of Elder, a position that marked a significant milestone in his spiritual journey. Serving with unwavering commitment at New Life Cathedral, he held several pivotal roles, including Auxiliary Captain, Deacon Board Chairman, and President of the Media Ministry. His passion for ministry and service was evident throughout his years of dedication.
As fate would have it, a divine calling prompted Bishop McInnis and his family to transition from their familiar surroundings, where they had thrived, to a new chapter under the guidance of his spiritual father and mentor, Bishop Robert Joel Rochford, Sr. With a heart full of devotion, Bishop McInnis continued to faithfully serve the Lord, becoming an integral member of the Men's Council. It was during this transformative period that he felt the stirring of a prophetic word in his life, a testament to the proximity of his calling and the unfolding of his divine purpose.
Bishop McInnis is a distinguished scholar with degrees in Psychology and Philosophy, which inform his insightful approach to ministry. He is also a proud alumnus of the Brooklyn Bible Center, where he deepened his theological understanding. He earned a Master’s degree in Divinity from American Bible University and is currently enrolled at Liberty University, pursuing a Master’s degree in Biblical Studies. As an author, he has written three impactful books: "Restoration: The Plan, Purpose, and the Power I & II" and "Titles and Towels," which reflect his profound insights and teachings.
Bishop McInnis possesses a remarkable teaching and preaching anointing, a gift that is beautifully complemented by his education and the spiritual mentorship he received from his Bishop, Robert Rochford. Driven by an unwavering passion for those who are lost, he is dedicated to transforming lives and communities one soul at a time.
Having grown up in the vibrant and challenging Brownsville neighborhood of Brooklyn, he is acutely aware of the dangers and spiritual strongholds that permeate the area. With this understanding, he and his wife have taken a bold step to establish the Restoration Center of Hope. Empowered by the Word, they are committed to nurturing and restoring relationships—bringing fathers to sons, mothers to daughters, husbands to wives, and most importantly, reconnecting families to God. Their mission is heartfelt and transformative, as they seek to spark healing and hope in the lives they touch.
On July 30, 1994, he married his high school sweetheart, Pastor Kawana McInnis. They are the proud parents of two children: Dejanai and Jermaine Jr.
Dr. Kawana McInnis serves as the First Lady and Senior Pastor of the Restoration Center of Hope, where her poetic style of worship and powerful preaching, infused with the Anointing of God, inspire transformation in the lives of all who listen. With this honor, she embarked on a mission to share the transformative power of the Gospel, touching lives and inspiring others to pursue their own spiritual journeys. Each step she takes is a testament to her faith and a reflection of her desire to serve as a beacon of hope for her community.
She furthered her ministerial training in 2001 at New Life Cathedral. After being consistent, diligent, and faithful, she was elevated to the office of Associate Pastor in November 2006. In 2009, she joined her husband in his endeavor to "put broken pieces back together" in the lives of individuals, families, and communities; they started Restoration Center of Hope in the Brownsville community where they grew up.
A proud graduate of the DeVos Urban Leadership Initiative in 2010, she is deeply committed to enriching the lives of young people through the transformative power of the Word of God. Her journey in service has taken her through various impactful roles, including Program Director, Teacher, Education Specialist, Director of Social Services, Director of the Faith and Neighborhood Initiative in Foster Care, and Coach/Trainer as a Leadership Specialist.

Her mission is to facilitate restoration, healing, and wholeness in the lives of those who are broken, using the transformative power of the Word of God as her guide. Through her work, she seeks to empower individuals to overcome their struggles and find hope and purpose in their lives.
